WHAT IS RORO?
An abbreviated term for roll-on, roll-off. RORO can be defined as:
CARGO which is rolled on and off a vessel under its own power; or
A WAY OF TRANSPORTING CARGO utilizing a vessel with a ramp(s) which allow wheeled vehicles to be loaded and discharged under their own power or by means of special flatbeds, mafis or trailers.
